Like a slap in the face, the book of Ecclesiastes shocks and provokes us out of our lethargic lives and apathetic faith. With its bracing descriptions of our unjust world and enigmatic God, Ecclesiastes challenges our notion of what we think life should be like. Instead of life consisting of the comfortable existence we believe we’re owed, the author declares that everything is hevel: fleeting, futile, and absurd. But only when we come to embrace that nothing under the sun satisfies can we truly begin to live. The wisdom of Ecclesiastes encourages us to fear God during our fleeting and futile lives.

This class covers the essential beliefs of Christianity. The purpose of this course is to help believers understand and articulate what is basic to being a Christian. It will help disciples of Jesus define and defend their commitment to being a Christian. The Apostles' Creed has served as the “rule of faith” for nearly 2,000 years, its simplified summary of Christian beliefs will help refresh, clarify, and sharpen believers' faith.

Every year from Mother's Day (May 10) to Father's Day (June 21) we ask the LBC Family to participate in the Baby Bottle Boomerang sponsored by Solutions Health and Pregnancy Center.  Baby Bottle Boomerang is a way for you to directly provide needed services for local women in crisis.  By "filling" our bottle, you can help fund ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, and counseling that will help women choose life for their babies!  

We will have one large baby bottle on the table by the bulletin board and at the other entry to LBC. You can drop your contributions in that one large baby bottle (check or cash) or you can scan the QR code on the baby bottle to make your contribution. The QR code will take you directly to the Solutions Pregnancy Center's site so you can make your contribution. We will have a "Work Day" at LBC on Saturday, June 6th, from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.  We will be doing some window cleaning, deep cleaning, weeding and other chores that need to be done.  Please sign up HERE or by the bulletin board in the foyer.

There will be a Music Ministry and Audio Visual interest meeting on Sunday, June 7th at 11:30am in the Adult Classroom. Anyone interested in helping with music, projection, sound or streaming is welcome to attend. If you have questions, please contact Zack - zstoltzfus@ccojubilee.org.

LBC is planning a Baptism Sunday on June 28th.  A Baptism class will be held on June 14th at 11:45 am, which is mandatory if you plan to be baptized.  You are also welcome to attend the class if you just want to find out more about being baptized.  Attending the class does not commit you to be baptized.  If you have questions or want to learn more, email Pastor Chris: chris@lincroftbiblechurch.org.

Weavers for Evangelism: Come and learn how to connect deeply in a conversation and share the gospel with others. This highly interactive and participative training will help you learn the art of biblical storyweaving to naturally share and discuss God's truth with others. You will have a chance to practice what you learn using everyday situations.

The Bible Reading Plan guides readers through one chapter of the Bible per day, five days a week. Our college ministry is called SPUR. We meet for Bible teaching, worship, fellowship, and special events. 
 

SPUR meets on Sunday evenings from 5:00 - 7:30 pm. 

Are you 55 or older and looking for community with other believers in the same season of life?  Connect 55 is a new ministry looking to provide opportunities to connect and to glorify the name of Jesus by gathering and "doing life together."  We desire to form and strengthen relationships and to encourage one another by using our gifts and talents to serve together. ​​

One of our members, Evelyn Wells, has generously provided addiction recovery resources to us and has dropped off materials in our church library. These materials are now available for anyone who may need them. Evelyn, who is a doctor, is also available to speak with anyone who has further questions or needs guidance on this issue, She volunteers in the addiction recovery unit at the hospital where she works. Thank you, Evelyn, for making this support available to our congregation. 

LBC Kids is now offered for children Nursery through 5th grade during the 10:00 service.  Please check in your children at the LBC Kids desk before the service begins.

The LBC AWANA program meets from September to May on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:00 PM and will begin again in September.  Volunteers are needed!  If you are interested in volunteering or if you have questions, please contact Matt and Faith Clayton at LincroftAWANA@gmail.com

New Jersey Blood Services would like to thank you for the life-saving that happens through donations given at LBC.  In 2024 LBC hosted 12 blood drives collecting a total of 550 units, an average of 46 units per drive.  And 1650 patients may have benefited from the blood collected at Lincroft Bible Church.  New Jersey Blood Services will be at LBC again on Tuesday, June 23rd,  from 1:00 - 7:00 pm. Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) believes that people discover their true purpose and identity by knowing God through His Word. That is why BSF offers free, in-depth Bible studies in community for people of all ages around the world. We offer a satellite group for men at LBC that meets on Tuesday nights, 7PM at the church. Transformed Discipleship is not just a Bible Study. It is a group based upon accountability, transparency, and commitment and most importantly, a desire to become more like Christ.
