NEW SERMON SERIES: FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT
In our series on the Fruit of the Spirit, we’ll discover that the life God desires isn’t about doing more, but becoming more like Jesus. The fruit of the Spirit is the character of Christ being formed within us. As we live through the power of the Spirit, we will display Christlike character to the world. When we believe in Jesus, abide with Jesus, and become like Jesus, we bear the kind of fruit that glorifies God and blesses others. This series invites us to depend on the Holy Spirit to transform us into the image of Christ. The bulletin for January 4th can be found here.

ADVENT GIVING PROJECT
Every Christmas, we support one or two missions projects through our Advent Offering and we have extended the time to give for these two projects into the month of January. This year, we are trusting God to raise $20,000 to support two projects. Your generous contribution will help to fund:
-
Ministry to children of refugees in Greece from Arabic, Ukrainian, and Farsi communities. Last year, our Advent project funded a position that now serves 60-80 children who are far from home and need to know the love of Jesus. This year’s project will continue that work and enable direct gospel ministry to their parents through the good work of Jonathan Macris and the Hellenic Ministry team.
-
Ministry to gospel laborers in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Story Weavers Global trains local pastors, church members, and key staff members to “weave” the gospel into everyday life through the power of biblical stories. Ed and Elenore Beach lead this ministry and want to expand their effectiveness through three regional conferences for key ministry leaders and partners globally. Investment in this project directly impacts the communication and articulation of the gospel in these regions of the world.
We cannot all go, but we can all send. We can all contribute to the global mission of God. Would you join the effort to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth through supporting these mission initiatives?

PASTOR AND STAFF GIFTS
