Throughout the centuries, God’s people have faced a wide variety of circumstances, from tremendous suffering to inexpressible joy. And, throughout the centuries, God’s people have found solace and strength in the book of Psalms as it beautifully depicts God’s character, grace, and faithfulness. This summer, we will be covering various Psalms as they reveal to us the truth about God’s character and our need for Him.

Instead of sermon discussion questions this summer, you can purchase and use the study Praying the Psalms by Tim Keller. It is a PDF download which you will have access to immediately after purchase. This study can be used for your own personal devotions or as a discussion guide for your Group. Click on the link to purchase the right number of leader guides and/or participant guides. PURCHASE HERE

Thanks to everyone in the congregation for supporting our program to help the Asbury Park Rescue Mission.   The Mission is a Christian organization that ministers to the homeless men in Asbury Park.

  • Our TD Men's group donated blue jeans

  • The Thursday morning Women's B8ble Study filled dozens of individual bags of toiletries with notes of encouragement for the men

  • Our Youth Group collected bath towels and paper towels

  • The congregation donated men's socks and underwear

In total, we provided 235.2 pounds of supplies to the mission.   These gifts are a real blessing to the homeless men in Asbury.  Thank you all for your generous support and demonstration of Christian love for our neighbors.

Baby Bottle Boomerang 2023.png

Every year from Mother's Day to Father's Day we ask the LBC Family to participate in the Baby Bottle Boomerang sponsored by Solutions Health and Pregnancy Center. Baby Bottle Boomerang is a way for you to directly provide needed services for local women in crisis.  By "filling" our bottle, you can help fund ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, and counseling that will help women choose life for their babies!  This year, we will be "boomeranging" a bit differently. We will have one large baby bottle at each entry to LBC. You can drop your contributions in that one large baby bottle (check or cash) or you can scan the QR code on the baby bottle to make your contribution.  The QR code will take you directly to the Solutions Pregnancy Center's site so you can make your contribution there. You can also donate by clicking on the link HERE.  Thank you for supporting this ministry.
