SERMON SERIES - "LOVE ONE ANOTHER"

Loving well means that we love God deeply, love one another passionately, and love our neighbors boldly. We spent the Fall of 2021 learning to love God deeply. We are now turning our attention to what it means to love one another passionately. To guide our thinking about loving one another, we will be working through the book of 1 John. 1 John was written to help churches to know the one true God and to learn how to love one another.  The discussion questions for this week can be found HERE.  The discussion question for previous weeks can be found HERE.

Love Well - Resolved 2021.png

"LOVE WELL"

God is the first missionary. Even after humanity sinned, God had a plan to rescue people from their sins. God’s missionary heart is nowhere better exemplified than in the life and mission of his Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Today, we will learn about Jesus’ missionary heart through one of his most famous stories.  The discussion questions for last week can be found HERE.

  • Bring cookies, brownies, Rice Krispie Treats, or other goodies packaged with 12 pieces per zip lock bag.

  • Candy bars, gum, and store-bought treats are also welcome.

  • Contact Kevin Gould (kwgould28@gmail.com) if someone in your family has been part of LBC and is now serving in the military or is in college and give Kevin their mailing address.

After church on February 20th we will pack the treats into boxes, include a personalized note and then mail them to our young people.  Thank you for your help in filling these boxes.  This can be an opportunity for these young people to share their unexpected treats with friends and to talk about church and the saving power of Christ.
