Our History

Lincroft Bible Church began in the 1960's with a group of men and women meeting together for Bible study. Sensing a need for permanent emphasis on a return to the Bible's fundamental teaching, the Bible study group formally organized into a church. Initially the church met at various locations until property on West Front Street, Lincroft was purchased in 1969.

By 1978 the congregation was starting to outgrow its facilities. The current 15 acre tract on Newman Springs Road was then purchased and on July 16, 1983 dedication of the new building took place. In 1985 the church found that the combination of a growing congregation and an expanding ministry was filling the educational and fellowship portion of its facility to overflowing. It was then decided upon a building expansion to provide for space for these parts of Lincroft Bible Church's ministry. This came to fruition when the new wing was begun in 1991 and completed and dedicated in 1992.
