Gary Strevell
Teaching Pastor

Gary StrevellGary was born and raised in Neptune, NJ.  He came to know Christ as his Savior while a student at Monmouth College (now Monmouth Univ.) in 1971 at the end of the Jesus Movement. God interrupted his career plans to play professional golf on the PGA tour, placing upon his heart a desire to feed His sheep. Upon graduating with a BS Degree in Business Administration, Gary married his sweetheart Gale and they immediately ventured into full time youth ministry in Irvington, NJ. Gary has since served in numerous pastoral and church leadership roles; most recently with the Calvary Chapel churches.

Gary and Gale have six children and, at last count, 13 grandkids. They came to Lincroft Bible Church in 2007 and found joy in simple service, with Gary gaining a reputation as LBC's "coffee man". As God opened opportunities to serve at LBC, Gary found a role in teaching and is pleased to serve on our pastoral staff as our part-time Teaching Pastor.

Brett Knaus
Youth Pastor
Brett KnausBrett grew up in north New Jersey and began his relationship with God when he was 6 years old. For many of Brett’s younger years, he strayed from the Lord. But at the age of 19, his heart was turned and he rededicated himself to his Lord and Savior. Shortly after this, Brett began working with youth and found his passion in ministry, choosing to pursue this full time in college.

In 2005 Brett graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University (PBU) where he majored in Bible and youth ministry. While at PBU, Brett was the assistant Youth Pastor at New Hope Community Church in Pennsylvania.

Starting in January 2006, Brett took over the reins of LBC's JV Impact and Senior High Impact programs for our ever-growing Junior and Senior High school student population.

Brett and his wife Dominique serve as "co-laborers in Christ" here at LBC.
