The AWANA Clubs
CUBBIES - 3-5 years of age
SPARKS - Kindergarten thru 2nd grade boys and girls
TRUTH & TRAINING - 3rd thru 6th grade boys and girls.
Our LBC AWANA Clubs are part of the many AWANA Clubs which operate around the world. These community clubs are open to all youth from 3 years old thru 6th grade, and meet weekly on Thursday nights from 6:45 - 8:15 PM (September thru May). The weekly AWANA club consists of three parts: games, achievements and council time (singing and a Bible story).
There are many trained adults involved in the three clubs. While the facilities and equipment are provided by the church, we do have a registration and book fee along with a uniform fee. On the first night your child will bring home an Entrance booklet, which is the first step in AWANA achievement.
We hope you will help him/her complete this booklet in the next three weeks. After the Entrance booklet is completed, a clubber is eligible to earn more achievement awards as a member of AWANA. We want to cooperate with you in providing balanced physical, social, mental and spiritual activities for your child.
Please feel free to visit our club at your convenience or call if you have questions. While your child will not be required to attend other functions of our church all the services/opportunities of the church are open to your family.
